Pacific Coast Highway

So recently my boy, Quatr who helps post on SpaceJams every now and then and who is also a co-founder of our successful brother sports blog, and I recently stumbled upon this video called "Epic Tarp Surfing." Not only is the video unreal but the featured song is even doper. Wentworth and Mordemere are two artists that I had never even heard of until I saw this video. I checked out their other shit and this song is just about their only real jam but what a jam it is. It seems that everything clicked perfectly when they were making this. Even if their other stuff isnt great, this song is a MUST DOWNLOAD, trust me, and who knows maybe they will surprise us again soon with another banger. Check it out below. Preview, Rate, and Download it on the links provided below -

This is the actual song, the video below is the unreal video that allowed us to discover this song:

Summertime Jams

It doesn't quite seem like summer until shwayze breaks out with a few of his upbeat feel good tunes to reinforce that chill summer feel and in his two latest songs, Shwayze does just as he is expected. Last Summer, Shwayze dropped a song called "Love Letter". This summer he is back with the same song except this time he features Dev and totally re-amps this jam. The second song is called "Butterflies" and he teams up with Cisco to make a laid back chill jam. Be sure to check out the preview and download them if you like what you're hearing -

Chiddy Bang Mixtape - Peanut Butter and Swelly

As I am sure many of you already know, our fellow boarding school prodigy just came out with his latest mixtape "Peanut Butter and Swelly" and it is an absolute banger. The Chiddy Bang - Xaphoon Jones combo has quickly become one of my favorites in the game. Through Xaphoon's perfectly chosen samples and tight lyrics by Chiddy there is no going wrong with these two. In his latest mixtape Chiddy drops some ill verses that are sure to impress and they are perfect to bump at any party. Check them out, rate and download.

Craig Anderson

Alright, for those of you who dont know him, Craig Anderson is easily one of the sickest surfers alive. He is the type of surfer who is like Clay Marzo and just has rubber legs. The throw tails he is able to do off some of these waves are absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention he could be the biggest bro alive and has some of the most epic flow I have ever witnessed. Yeah I know I should probably come up for air but this is a kid worthy of this much praise. Anyways, I recently saw a promo for a surf movie called Innersection and Craig Anderson is one of the stars in the movie. The video is one of the sickest things I have ever seen, not to mention the song in it is an absolute banger. Check it out below and I am going to try and find a download link for the song so stay tuned for that. In the meantime enjoy the video, its fucking sick..

(This video doesn't do it justice so be sure to check it out in all its glory here)

(Here is the song from the video. Unreal)

Keystone State Of Mind

Tayyib Ali has been a favorite of mine for a while. With songs like "Kid Again" and "I Ain't Scared" he has quickly made a name for himself. A little while ago, Tayyib released his newest single called, "Keystone State Of Mind". Tayyib is set to release a mixtape with the same name as the single in late April. Recently, they made a dope video for "Keystone State Of Mind" that I thought I would share with all of you. The song is sick and definitely shows off some of Tayyib's best skills and gives us reason to believe this kid is bound for stardom. The video is sick, song is sick, do you need any other reasons to watch and download it? Definitely gives us a good preview of whats to come on the April mixtape. Get hyped.

Best Day Ever

So as most of you know, Mac Miller's newest mixtape "Best Day Ever" came out on Friday. Mac Miller has quickly become one of my favorite artists with his unreal use of sampling and his smooth flowing lyrics. Again, Miller proves why hes on his way to stardom and shows us why hes sold out so many shows. This nineteen year old prodigy out of Pittsburgh, PA can literally never dissapoints. With all the hype that has been floating around the release of this new mixtape, Miller shows us that he is capable of preforming under pressure. When the mixtape hit, he exceeded all expectations. It is safe to say that Mac Miller can do nothing wrong and it wont be long till hes at the top. I posted some of my favorites from the mixtape so far. Preview them in the videos and download them on the links provided below. Not much else to say. Just kick back and enjoy -

September I'll Be Gone

New up and coming artist, 90's finest, dropped this track called "September I'll Be Gone". As you can probably guess, it samples Mike Posner's infamous song "Gone In September." I was really impressed with what these guys were able to do with it. They took Posner's slow chill song and completely made it their own. Definitely a good, upbeat remix to add to the collection. Peep the preview and download it on the link below. Plus - only 1 day till Mac Miller...get pumped

Mac Miller

So only two days away from the much anticipated drop of Mac Miller's newest mixtape "Best Day Ever". However, today we were blessed with his single, "In The Air" which will be a featured song on this Friday's mixtape. "In The Air" is a tasty treat of what is to come. Its a real chill, laid back song that has almost a "Senior Skip Day" type feel to it. It is a song that you may have to feel out and will grow on you after the first couple listens. Its definitely one of his more unique songs so give it a listen on the youtube video below and download it off the link provided. I hope his mixtape will live up to all the hype because as of right now he can do no wrong. Can't wait for it to drop but in the meantime throw on "In The Air" as you slowly count down these next two days -

Lil Wayne

New beat old verse. Lil Wayne's new song, "We Back Soon" features an old verse from Weezy that he decided to slow down and throw a beat on. In doing so, Wayne creates this laid back jam. Not much else to say, its just Wayne being Wayne. You know what to expect - A few ill verses, play on words, and unreal flow, the usual. I mean I wouldn't call it his best piece of work but it's definitely sick and it's definitely something new to hold us over until Carter IV. Be sure to peep the preview below and download it on the link provided -

OCD Moosh & Twist Mixtape

I always new these kids were sick and were gonna do it big one day and this mixtape they just dropped proves just that. The 14 new songs on their mixtape features sampling from artists like James Blunt, Usher, Nina Simone, and Journey. Top that off with the smooth flow and lyricism from these two and you find yourselves with some pretty unreal new songs. This mixtape is not one to pass up, so be sure to download it. Check out the samples below and download them on the links provided. Enjoy -

(Couldn't find the full song on youtube so this video below is only a 2 minute preview but be sure to download the song on the link below and it will provide you with the 4 minute version)

Kid Cudi + Dubstep

Take a Kid Cudi anthem and combine it with this banger of a dubstep beat and what do you get? A song that's sicker than an African Village, that's what. Sorry that might have been too much but that's just about the only way to give this song justice.  For real, throw this song on and it is guaranteed to turn any regular ass party into an absolute rager. This song is a MUST DOWNLOAD. Do not pass this one up, you will regret it. I put the video below for you to preview it but lets be serious, "Cudder + Dubstep" those words alone should be enough to convince you to download it. Check it out and peep it on the link below. Enjoy-

Sunday Chill

A real chill song from Sucka Free CJ. Nice soothing beat and smooth flowing lyrics. Good way to bring the weekend to a close. Song is perfect to throw on while your chillen in your dorm room shaking off the Sunday weirds. Hope everyone had a solid weekend

Donald Trump Official Video

Finally, the visuals to his song "Donald Trump". Mac Miller has been known not only for Kickin Incredibly Dope Shit on his tracks but also his ability to show off some unreal music videos. When Donald Trump was first released I was not only pumped by how unreal a jam it was but I was also already excited to see what Miller had in store for us on the video. Well, today the music video dropped and Miller provides us with a great start to the weekend. Bump it and if you don't already have the song I put the download link below -

Gorilla Warfare Tactics

Dope new mixtape from Gorilla Warfare Tactics. These kids are coming up quick and its no surprise when they are dropping songs like this one here called "The Come Up". This is definitely one of their best off their newest mixtape. They show off some chill beats and some ill flow as expected. Be sure to support these new up and comers dropping jam after jam - this is a MUST DOWNLOAD. Seriously you wont regret it

Split Second

Alright, like I said before, hate myself for showing these kids some love. I only have a grudge against doug profenius, you can read about why in the old post. But once again, Louie Reed goes hard with the lyrics and great flow. The beat to this song is ridiculously ill. Be sure to download this one and punch doug in the face -

New OCD: Moosh & Twist

New song from OCD: Moos & Twist. These guys have been blowing up all over the music blog scene recently. I've posted some other stuff of theirs in my earlier blogs and like I said in those, I like these guys. They've got a good flow and some even better lyrics. Check out their newest song "Black Forest Gummie Worms" and download it on the link below -

The Deans List Mixtape

Deans List just dropped their newest mixtape a day ago. I gave it a listen and it really impressed me. Definitely one of the best mixtapes so far in 2011. Great production, sick flow and some ill lyrics. The fact that were getting all these songs for free seems like a steal. Be sure to download this mixtape as soon as you can. Below are a few of my favorites so if you like what you're hearing download them and the rest of the mixtape on the links below. Enjoy-

Things I Haven't Done

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. It was one of those weeks where everyone of my teachers made all my assignments due during the same week. You all know what its like. But no worries, now that its behind me I'm back and will be posted everyday this week. Here's a new jam from a group called The Good Husbands. They are an unknown group from Washington just trying to get there name out there. In this song called "Things I Haven't Done" they sample Sara Bareilles' song, "Many the Miles", which gives it a unique, upbeat style to it. Not only that, these guys show they have what it takes to flow well and provide some solid lyrics. Definitely a positive feel to it so blast this in the morning and I guarantee it will provide a great start to your day. Anyways, give it a listen and download it on the link below.

Closing Time In The 2010s

The Five One is a relatively unknown group of dudes who put their own spin on a bunch of classic songs. Here they throw some swag on the 90s hit Closing Time, which is an absolute CLASSIC. Enjoy this jam...and your short week.

Jack Johnson Session

Hope everyone is having a dope weekend so far. Hard not to when the weather in North Carolina is 75 degrees and sunny. Since the weather has been so nice, I decided to throw up these new feel good jams by the no name rapper, M.I. In it, he samples the very well known acoustic artist, Jack Johnson, and adds his own unique spin on things. Chill beats and ill verses combined with the silky smooth vocals and lyrics of Jack Johnson? Basically, throw on these jams and I guarantee they will take the term "broin out" to a whole new level. The two videos I provided are here to give you a little taste of some of my favorites, download them along with the rest of the mixtape. I'm telling you, go grab some natty lights, slip on your mid calves, throw on an episode of family guy, and bump M.I.'s mixtape, you wont be disappointed -

Chiddy Just Keeps On Rollin'

Chiddy Bang can do no wrong. With Xaphoon producing dope beat after dope beat, and Chiddy smashes them all with his unique flow, this tandem is just keep on rising. Here Xaphoon rolls a Train track up and makes it a straight banger. This is one of those feel good anthems for your Get Fucked Up Friday.

It's Brenton Again

Brenton Duvall is unstoppable these days. He just had his first show a few days ago which sold out in 20 minutes. Brenton plays again sometime later this week for the Barstool U show and will be opening for Hoodie Allen. The kid is makin moves. Anyways, he just dropped us with his latest work of art called, "Blow The $krilla". In this song he samples Too $hort’s “Blow the Whistle” and Skrillex’s “With You Friends”. Brenton shows off his genius in this mashup and once again proves to us why hes gonna be the next big thing. Download this...Its dope.

Letter To The Lost

Sam Adams has been doing some work over a couple uplifting songs, including this one and coming home. This one has a great beat, and a solid chorus coming from a chick named Christina Perri. Anyways, Sammy kills it once again.

Sunday Chill

Hey guys. Sorry its been a few days since I have posted up here, pretty busy last couple of days. Hope everyone had a good weekend. As always, I'm gonna throw up some chill, low key songs to help you sit back, relax and wind down from a busy weekend. The first one is a Big Z remix called "Slow Down". The song features both Lupe Fiasco and Mos Def, two names together that are sure to make a hit. Its got a dope instrumental beat in the back and really sets the scene for a chill sesh. Be sure to download. The next is a song by a kid who calls himself Miracle. This up and coming 18 year old out of Australia samples Angus & Julia Stone’s song called "A Big Jet Plane". Its probably a little different than what your used to but listen the whole way through and give it a chance before you pass it up. I promise you it ends up being a real laid back and chill rap song.

"I got the game mirrored and it's closer than appears"

Chiddy Bang assassinates another beat, what else is new. Chiddy Bang is known for his play on words, catchy beats and glassy flow and that's just what you can find in his latest drop. Unlike others who have lately veered away from their distinctive sound, (I think you know who I'm talking about), Chiddy continues to be true to his style and the fresh brand that makes him so unique. In his latest song, the beat is definitely very catchy and Chiddy spits some ill verses as expected. Just another one to add to the impressive repertoire that Chiddy has begun to establish over the past few years -

"You're Fired"

Mac Miller's new song is as good as should be expected. In his new song, "Donald Trump", Mac just spits fire like he usually does and uses some ill sampling. Right now it seems like Mac can do no wrong. He is killing it with every song he drops and I can't wait to hear the latest mixtape which is rumored to drop March 11th. Get pumped. Check him -

Keep Blowing Up GWT

Gorilla Warfare Tactics have only released two songs and a freestyle, but yet they are blowing up instantly. These dudes have tight production and serious flow. I cannot wait to see a full mixtape out of 'em. The sampling is second to none, and I like the fact that they are slowly dropping new stuff more and more.

Finally Famous (2011)

So Big Sean's much anticipated album, "Finally Famous" is finally said to be released in March of this year. However, since the date has been changed around so much in the past, I'm not really sure how much I want to trust this information. I can't tell you how pumped I am for this album to finally be released. I have big expectations but how can you blame me when you think about the logistics of it. First of all, it's guest spots are filled with hip-hop's A-list, with names like, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Mr. Hudson, Game, Chiddy Bang, Rick Ross, The Dream, Drake, Tyga, Pharrell Williams, Eminem, Wale, Mike Posner, the list goes on. Second, it's gonna be on West's own GOOD Music imprint, that itself is enough for me. This 21-year old Detroit MC is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists and this album is going to be a big time debut for this up and comer. With all that said, here's the latest leak of his single called, "My Last". In it is a strong feature from Chris Brown and Big Sean's flow is once again flawless. This song is sure to blow up in the next few days. The song I have right now is only the clean version, but I will make sure to post up the other version as soon as I get my hands on it. Enjoy -

Dean's List

I am sure many of you have heard of and already have some songs from the group, The Dean's List. If you do, then you know that these guys are dope. As of right now, we are 12 days away from their latest project which is a mixtape called, "The Drive-In" that drops Feb 20th. It is said to be on some next level shit and from some of the previews of this mixtape, I can vow that it will blow you away. Don't believe me? Check out some of the YouTube previews provided below and I guarantee that you and I will be on the same page. Why these guys aren't huge yet is still a mystery to me, but hopefully with this mixtape, which I can already say could be one of the hottest mixtapes of 2011, they will establish a monumental name for themselves. So be sure to mark Feb 20th down on the calender and get amped, its gonna be sick. P.S. Obviously we don't have the download links out yet since the mixtape hasn't dropped, but be sure to come back on Feb 20th and download the entire set.

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain

In the heat of the big game yesterday, a lot of people forgot that it was also Bob Marley's birthday, the man who introduced the world to the mystic power of reggae. As Jann Wenner, a well known writer of Rolling Stone once said, Bob, "was a true rocker at heart, and as a songwriter, he brought the lyrical force of Bob Dylan, the personal charisma of John Lennon, and the essential vocal stylings of Smokey Robinson into one voice." Bob Marley has some of the greatest lyrics and he remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music.  With that being said, throw on some Bob Marley and celebrate his life. Happy Birthday Bob Marley, you are missed but not forgotten.

Superbowl

Aziz dropped this song a while ago back when the NFL season first started. However, in honor of the game last night, I thought it might be appropriate to post this. Aziz shows off his ill flow and amazingly names all 32 NFL teams throughout his lyrics. Try and see if you can catch them all and download it on the link below -

Sunday Chill

Another Sunday after a big weekend. I posted up a few chill songs for you guys to listen to as the weekend comes to an end. All of these songs are slowed down remixes by a group called DJ Cones and they sound pretty sick and are definitely real chill. If you like them, be sure to download them, turn off the lights and grab a nap while you wait for the Superbowl to start -

Pittsburgh Steelers? Thats nothing. That Super Bowl Ring? Thats stuntin'

Lil Wayne throws his cheese head on to drop this freestyle over Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow". There's no debate that Lil Wayne is a fan of the Packers and wants them to win the super bowl. What is also obvious is the die hard fanhood Wiz Khalifa has for his home town Steelers. Overall, it should make for an unreal battle not only between the two NFL teams and their quest to be crowned champions but also the battle of these two songs in terms of whose will become the more notorious anthem. In Weezy's version, he takes Khalifa's beat and makes it his own. Wayne's lyrics and flow are as good as always. Preview it on the video below and download it on the link provided. If you don't have or haven't heard Wiz's version than you probably either live in solitary or you have been in a coma for the past 5 months or so. Just in case that happens to be you, I put the original up as well - Get excited for Sunday..

Split Second

I hate myself for putting this song up cause I kinda hold a grudge against Split Second not only cause these kids went to Taft but also cause doug profenius, the kid who makes all the beats, pulled a bitch move and sucker punched one of my buddies younger brothers. Pretty fucked up move. That being said, I came across this song today and I actually think its pretty dope. Louie Reed goes hard on this beat with some good lyrics and great flow. Be sure to check this one out and download it on the link below. P.S. if you see doug anytime, be sure to take a pillowcase,  fill it full of bars of soap, and beat the shit out of him.

Ellie Goulding + Dubstep

A dubstep remix to one of Ellie Goulding's hit songs, never heard of that before... Alright I'm sure you've all heard a thousand remixes to her songs lately but believe me this one stands out and is definitely worth downloading. In the song, Bassnectar remixes Goulding's song "Lights". Bassnectar mixed with Ellie Goulding... not much else to say, you know its gonna be good. Check out this absolute banger -

Gorilla Warfare Tactics

Another up and coming hip hop group that is relatively new to the game. Not many people know about these guys. They are based out of New York City and most of them go to NYU. To give you a little bit better idea about them, in their biography it says, "Their music is heavily influenced by the feel of old school hip hop, as well as the new wave of dynamic artists such as Kanye West, J Cole, and Jay Electronica. They are currently working on their debut EP, which is set to drop Mid-February. GWT plans to release a lot of good music in the coming months and a full mixtape over the the summer. So be on the lookout!" I found out about this group from a friend at school who knew one of the artists from high school in St. Louis. Anyways, in this song, "Temptations", you can tell these guys are gonna make it big with their dope lyricism and unreal ability to flow. Check out the preview and be sure to download it on the link below the video. Like they said in their bio, be on the lookout for these guys.

City Kids

OCD: Moosh & Twist are two young up and comers born and raised in Philly. Their unique sound has been creating a buzz locally and around the east coast area. Moosh & Twist are still seniors in high school and lately have been making moves with Rex Arrow Films, like Mac Miller has, to make some quality music videos. In their latest song, "City Kids", which dropped in December, they sample Journey's "Don't Stop Believing." Since "Don't Stop Believing" is arguably one of the best songs ever, I was a little skeptical at first if these kids could live up to its success but after hearing it, I definitely think these two have done this classic some justice. Check out the video below and download the song on the link provided -

XVizzy

XV is one of these rappers that is always around, hopping on fresh tracks with the Wiz's and Kanye's. Here he drops a pretty dope track with a solid beat(produced by J. Cole). He never raps any bs, his shit is always real. Enjoy this sunday chill jam.

Friday, January 28, 2011

Wiz

New song out by Wiz called "Roll Up". Fresh new leak off his new album, Rolling Papers, which comes March 29th. Again, Wiz just proves to us why hes the one of the hottest up and comers in the game. There's no doubt that Wiz is on his way to the show. Pretty catchy song with some pretty unreal verses by Wiz. Check it out and mark down March 29th on your calenders.

Thursday Throwbacks

Not much going on in the music world today. Nothing worth posting atleast. Because of that we decided to take you back in time and throw up some old jams. Since these songs are on albums and are on itunes, we can't legally let you download them from our site so I'm sure most of you will recognize and probably have a lot of these songs but if you don't these songs are all worth buying on itunes. Be sure to enjoy your throwback Thursday with this random selection of golden oldies.

Sammy's Coming Home

Sammy Adams goes hard over the "Coming Home" beat which was originally heard from J. Cole and Diddy. Great use of sampling and sammy proves that he's still got that ill flow. We all know who sam adams is so theres not much else to say. Be sure to check this song out. Boston's boy is coming home..

Monday, January 24, 2011

So Amazin'

New song from Kidz In The Hall. Not gonna write too much right now because I'm currently studying in the library for my exam tomorrow and I gotta get back to work. Nice use of sampling topped off with some smooth flow. If you like what you hear, make sure to peep the download on the link below.

Taylor Gang Goes West Coast

A lot of people have pretty much given up on The Game. I kinda agree with that, but this new tape called Purp & Patron seems to have him back on track. I think that this is one of the subtle signs that Wiz Khalifa has officially made it. Now that he's spitting on tracks with all types of big time rappers he's got the game itchin' in his palm. Taylor Made. Taylor Gang.

Hasta La Vista

Fortune Family is relatively new to the game. They started out as a couple of high school kids based out of Wayne, PA fooling around with different sounds and beats. Shortly after these kids began getting promoted over music blogs just about a year ago. Since then, they have made great strides, improving in every aspect and over just one year have dropped a few dope mixtapes that you should check out. Anyways, this group of young rappers are at it again, hooking up with one of my favorites, Oncue to spit a few bars for them in their latest jam "Hasta La Vista". Since not too many of you know who these guys are, we also posted one of their old songs, "Take Me Away" which samples Annie Little's song, "Fly Me Away" which most of you will probably recognize from the Amazon Kindle commercial. I know, sounds weird now but just listen and you will soon come to realize how well it works out. Fortune Family drops their newest mixtape February 1st so make sure to support this up and coming group if you like what you hearing.

For some reason the link to post this in our blog is not working so just click the YouTube link that follows this and you can preview "Hasta La Vista" before you download it on the link below:

It's Brenton Again

Nothing better to start off your weekend than a few ill beats from Brenton Duvall. It seems like this kid is everywhere these days. After recently dropping a mixtape with Young Prince, Duvall is at it again with this new song "Pretty Little Penthouse". In it, he features lyrics by Tayyib Ali and sampling a song from Michael Jackson. After knowing those three things I was already sold and knew it was bound to be legit. Definitely download this song to start the weekend with a banger. I also posted one of Brenton's other songs that not a ton of people know about just to get you familiar with the type of work this kid is capable of.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis can do no wrong..

Wow. Another song by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis just came out the other day called "Wings". Lately these two have been one of my favorite duos in the game and it seems like its impossible for these two make a bad song. These two are so unique in terms of style, beats and lyrics but somehow it just all meshes together so well. I don't think I've gotten chills listening to any other artists but these two simply because they have so much  emotion and passion in every verse they spit, a trait that is sometimes hard to find nowadays. The begging of the song almost starts off as spoken poetry and then the unreal hook with the childrens choir just absolutely kills it. These two are unstoppable..

Old Song, New Vid

So I'm sure a lot of you have already heard the song, "Irish Celebration" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. If you don't already know them, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have always been known to release some unreal jams. More recently, these two have been making an even bigger name for themselves because of their ability to make incredible music videos like "My Oh My". The videos kinda got a badass Green Street Hooligans type feel to it. Ill song and an ill video, not much else to say about it. Tots I'm sure you'll love this video since your a ging but then again your not allowed on this site anyways. Watch it on the video below and for those of you who don't have it already, be sure to download it on the link below -

Hoodie Ain't Dreaming No More

If y'all don't know Hoodie Allen by now, get out of here. His "Pep Rally" mixtape made our best of 2010 list and sure as hell is a constant banger in my sound system. Here he comes in over another great and unique beat. The hooks nice and the lyrics are tight as usual. So dream up with Hoodie.

Walkin Around

Not too much going on today in the music world. We recently came across the song, "Walkin' Around" by a couple of relatively unknown artists, Dean and Ravo. We were a little skeptical at first of putting it up, not sure what people would think of it. However, we recently came across the official music video they made for it and so we just decided we might as well throw it up here. Music video provides some good visuals and is pretty entertaining to watch. In it, these two just walk around and talk about how hot the girls of NYC are. Check it out -

New Wiz?

This song recently leaked, this is most likely an unfinished product of a song that will be found on his upcoming album that is said to drop mid February. Although as of right now it is a work in progress it definitely sounds like its got some great potential to be a banger. Expect great things from Wiz in his new album, including this jam that will hopefully be in its final form. No download links yet but be sure to check it out and hit up his new album when it comes out -

Huey

Another young white rapper looking to make it big is Huey Mack. He reps his home state of West Virginia well with each one of his tracks, displaying some great lyrics and solid beats. The song below is called "Just Me" produced by Big Jerm, impressive for someone who is only 17 years old. This song is from his first mixtape, "Wish Me Luck" which dropped last summer. Since then, he has come out with a couple other singles, including a remix to Katy Perry's hit song "Firework" as well as a new mixtape "Bright Lights and Long Nights". If you like this kid, make sure to support him and download the rest of his stuff.

YP and Brenton Duvall Mixtape

Do not sleep on this soon to be unstoppable duo. With Brenton laying down some of the freshest beats around and Young Prince throwing his lyrical genius on-top of it, there's no wonder that these two can be seen all over the music blogs lately. They just recently dropped their first mixtape, "W.A.R." that you can download on the link below. This tape really displays the work of two young artists that are sure to blow up any minute. If you don't already know Brenton Duvall, make sure to check out some of his earlier stuff like Means Planes and Taylor Gangs, he is sure to impress. Below is a sample of one of my favorites off their new mixtape called "Strange Times". If you like what you are hearing, be sure to download their mixtape. I'm telling you do not sleep on these two, you'll regret it if you do-

"Clap"-Saigon

If you don't know who Saigon is then you obviously don't watch Entourage. However, his apperance on the show back in the day hasn't really helped his stardom, but maybe releasing an album "The Greatest Story Never Told" will. This song is uplifting from a little known rapper. I love the Faith Evans spot on this she tears up the hook. Saigon's flow is too underrated.

My Oh My (Official Video)

The new jam "My Oh My" has only been out for a couple weeks but has quickly become one of Macklemore's best hits thus far simply through the genuine emotion and passion he puts into each verse. More recently, he dropped a brand new music video for "My Oh My". If you are any kind of sports fan, I know you will appreciate this new video as it's visuals so vividly recapture this artist's childhood recollections as a Mariner's fan with Dave Niehaus. I dare you to watch this video without getting goose bumps-

Mac Is Back

New Mac Miller. Those three together are some of the best sounding words any music lover enjoys hearing. In the new song, "P.A.", Mac Miller is featured next to some very established artists like Freeway & Statik Selektah. This kid is continually building up an impressive resume in the music industry. In this new song he is no surprise once again reppin' it for PA. Check him out in the links directly below and if you like what you hear be sure to check out the rest of his stuff by scrolling down to number 5 in the best of 2010 post.
